D and I had fun making valentines to give to everybody. Well, he had fun for probably ten minutes. But that is how most "crafts" go with him, so at least I know what to expect. But he endured. And he was happy that he did! Here he is handing out his valentines - all colored, stickered, laced, and signed.
Daddy took a picture of his because he loved it so much.
D was so stoked on the dinosaur valentines that Nana and Papa brought for him.
And then a huge balloon party broke out with the balloons that Nana and Papa brought. It lasted long after the kids went to bed!
Oh, and we made cookies. And they turned out! (My Christmas cookies were, um, really crunchy.) And D not only helped me roll out the dough and cut out all the cookies, but he actually helped me decorate every single cookie too (which totally goes against him being interested in a project for only 10 minutes). I think that he was really digging squirting the frosting on to decorate instead of just spreading it on with a knife. (And just yesterday I saw my friend doing something even more awesome - painting her cookies!!! Genius!)
Here he is with his cookies. Did I mention that he took one little tiny bite and declared that he didn't like them? But he did like the frosting and was licking the bowl clean.
And Lieutenant got his spoon in there too! (He did eat the cookies too though.) And now I'm hungry for a sugar cookie. St. Patrick's day needs to get its hustle on!

Great. Now I want sugar cookies too! I love the fact that it appears that what D won't eat... the Lieutenant will! Happy Blogging Ang!!! It's been so fun to catch up!
