This is a really cool book and D just loves it (he even took it to school for show-and-tell). It teaches about various animal habitats and also has tons of crafts that go along with the habitats. It's fun.
After I took some pictures of D with the snake I noticed that the Lieutenant had been standing by him the whole time with his camera smile on.
And of course some food for it to eat. That's right - a snapping turtle will eat a bird. I don't know how it could catch a bird!
Then we made this lovely raccoon mask. It kind of looks more like a Husky or wolf, but when Paul saw it the first thing he said was "nice raccoon mask", so that made me feel better.
Now that Lieutenant has it on it really looks like a dog. The binky sticking out the bottom of the mask looks like a tongue.Thank you Nana and Papa! We probably won't have any paper plates left next time you come visit!

Awesome Eagle and Rockin Raccoon!
You are running a real animal house there, aren't you, Ang? ;)
