Winter Wonderland

While we were out driving around yesterday afternoon, I got that Christmas feeling in my gut. Why? Because it snowed. The air couldn't help but feel and smell like Christmas and it made me want to clap and sing songs. So I did.

Today, however, turned out to be a beautiful, sunny day. By the time we got home from church, there was but a patch of snow in the backyard to evidence the white world that existed just this morning. So we hurried and got D bundled up and headed outside. I hesitated initially because D got a cold yesterday, but...it was the first snow (that stayed on the ground) and he loves to sing the snowman song so I couldn't resist.

Crazy that snow was! It was coming down so thick and then gone just as fast. Welcome to Autumn in Utah, eh? Looks like you guys made the most of it!
