D turns seven

D only had a half-day of school on his birthday. Now that is one of the best birthday presents you could ask for. He got a new pencil at school for his birthday and Paul took donuts for him to share with his class (I'm sure they sang "Happy Birthday" to him too). And can you guess what we did immediately after he got home from school?? If you guessed that we went to Toys'R'Us, then you win! You're never too old for that birthday crown and balloon! We ordered Papa John's pizza for his birthday dinner (but now that I think about it he might have had cold cereal...or maybe both...) and then he insisted on opening his presents before eating cake and ice cream. Sure thing, D!

Confetti time!

D loves a good book!

Matching gloves with dad

I think Uncle Jeff might have been a little disappointed that D actually liked these; secretly he wanted to keep them for himself.

Filling up those lungs for seven candles!

Cinnamon rolls have been D's birthday choice the last couple of years since he doesn't like cake, cupcakes, brownies, etc.

Even though the cinnamon rolls were delicious, D was much more interested in playing with his prehistoric sharks and sea life animals.
