Mini-me

Paul dug out some of my old (really old) piano books from the basement. I'm not really teaching D how to play, just kind of showing him some things to hopefully get him interested. I think it's working. He has fun trying to play some of the little songs. I can't believe how much like me he is - and he's only four. I was hoping some of my "less desirable" traits would somehow be canceled out by Paul. I've noticed that he gets really frustrated if he can't do something perfectly the first time (totally me). And, if you try to "correct" him, he listens for a minute, disregards everything you say, then tells you that he just wants to do it the way he wants to do it (I guess that's how I was when I was little too - not any more, of course). But he's cute trying to figure things out. And the Lieutenant is right up there in the middle of everything because if brother's doing it, then he most definitely wants to be doing it too. (He brought a little step stool over to the piano so he could climb up and sit on the bench too.)
