Skinny dip

I need to buy D a kiddie pool. Today I filled up an empty plastic storage container with some water and threw in some of D's bath toys thinking he would have fun playing with the water. Well, the first thing he tried to do was hop on in fully clothed. Whoops! So I put a swim diaper on him and helped him in.

He had so much fun playing and I had so much fun not trying to think of creative, exciting things to do to entertain him. Woohoo! Well, after some intense water pouring, D wanted out. After I helped him out, he very persistently and repeatedly told me "off" while pointing to his soggy swim diaper. So I took it off thinking he had had enough and wanted to dry off and go inside. Instead, he hopped back in and kept playing (feeling much more liberated I'm sure)!

(Don't worry, he didn't pee on the kitchen floor when he finally went back in the house... don't worry, it wasn't the second day in a row that he peed on the kitchen floor...)

Awww. That's sounds really good right about now. It is currently 81 degrees in our house and we don't have AC. Remember when the AC was broken at 300 South on your side? Billy and Paul had to slave away in the basement in order to figure it out, while we could lounge in the coolness of the AC on our side.

Yeah, as we're approaching the potty-training milestone people keep telling me to let Henry go nekkid, but EVERY time I take his diaper off he tinkles on the floor and thinks it's wildly funny...hmmmm
D is sure a cutie!

That is such a cute bum!!! Don't bother getting a kiddie pool. It looks like he's got the perfect set-up going. It seems like as soon as we get something that our girls love to play with they lose interest in the one at our house. Go figure! Cute pics!
