Best buds
Uncle Jeff came down last weekend for a visit. Hooray! We had a glorious, fun-filled, extended weekend of barbecuing, mini-golfing, shopping, and hanging out. In case anyone is interested in hitting up the mini-golf with little tikes in tow, Cascade Golf Course now has (or maybe they've had them all along) these little plastic golf clubs for tots! It is freaking awesome!! D packed that thing around with him all night. He swung at all the golf balls within his radius and headed straight for every water hazard on the course. We seriously had such a great time that we didn't leave until 10:00 p.m., which was slightly past D's bedtime...I know I've mentioned it before, a lot, but D absolutely adores his Uncle Jeff. His reserved personality flies out the window as soon as Jeff enters the equation. I don't think Jeff could do anything wrong in D's eyes, and quite frankly, it chokes me up a little bit to see not only how much D loves Uncle Jeff, but also how much Jeff unconditionally loves little D right back. Best buds!

so cute! D is starting an expensive habit :)
That's cute! What a great uncle!! D is so cute!
SOOOOOO sweet! I am so glad my hubby's siblings live close so my kids can have such close ties to awesome aunts and uncles!
I agree with Julia. Very expensive habit there! Start saving now. Unless of course he sticks strictly with miniature golf. (That's what I do!!!) It's great that he has such a wonderful relationship with his uncle. What happens when Jeff has his own son? Sibling rivalry!!!!!

Family is the best, huh Ang? Don't tell anyone else, but yours was my favorite comment on my post about living near family vs. living far away. It is a totally personal thing...and I loved what you said about not having to move far away to "grow up." You're rad :)
Oh man, I totally know what you mean. Liam has a love affair with my brother Ross. He loves his "Wusss". Nothing makes me happier than seeing the two of them play. In fact, it kind of reminds me of playing with my brother when we were little. Liam bosses him around and he obliges just like when we were kids!
