Fourth of July, Part 1

I think this is the third year that we've gone to the hot air balloon launch during the Fourth of July festivities here. And when I say "we've gone to" I actually mean "Paul and the kids have gone to." I went the first year (why we took Lt when he was only one I'm not sure...life lessons...), but then we realized that babies and small children (and mommies) do not benefit from being woken up at 5:30 in the morning to watch hot air balloons. But it is something that I think that D has really enjoyed over the years and that he looks forward to every Fourth (don't look at the second picture after reading that - 5:30 is sooooooooo early!). Needless to say, I did not go this year because it wouldn't have been worth it to wake up Nono, and Paul tried and tried and tried to wake Lt up, but he wouldn't budge (but they were still gone when he did get up and he was pretty bummed). So I don't have any good commentary for these pictures, but I don't think there would be much to say anyway (besides the fact that 5:30 is soooooo early)...
