In other news

D's tee-ball skills are improving every day. One night when Paul was gone, D and I watched some Baseball Tonight after which he spent 40 minutes running back and forth across the family room. So now, not only does he just dominate the ball, but he drops his bat and actually runs. We have taught him about the bases before, but he has always just wanted to hit the ball, so this is progress. He is also doing a little sliding here and there. Boy are we excited that it is baseball season!! Here's a little footage for the grandparents:

In other news, it snowed today. What?

In other news, it's a B-O-Y!! (Biglers were about ready to lose their minds, so we decided to tell them. They have promised that any future Bigler babies' genders will be announced, at least to us, well before they are born. They have realized what a cruel trick it is to keep this a secret for an entire nine months.) D is talking a lot more now about the baby. We were playing with Legos today and he showed me one shaped like a house and said, "This is baby's house." And later when we were having a snack, he wanted me to give a graham cracker to the baby. I asked him if he was going to share his cars with the baby and he said yes. I asked him which car he was going to share and then he told me that the baby would just get a new car at the store. Ha! Yay for brothers!

YAY for boys. You guys and the Biglers crack me up. I'm impressed with D's baseball skills...Isaac insists I pitch to him--I don't pitch, but amazingly he actually hits something and then he runs in a straight path across the yard for the *home run* yes some rules need to be enforced at some point--but he hits a ball that I'm pitching that is impressive.
