The cousins were visiting on Lt's birthday, so we decided to go visit the big dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point. It didn't hurt that his birthday just happened to be on a Tuesday since Thanksgiving Point was running its annual $2 Tuesdays deal (you know, $2 admission to most attractions). Actually, it was probably the worst day ever to go. It was packed. Unreal. So crowded. So many people. We'll never do it again. At least not on the FIRST Tuesday of $2 Tuesdays. But we persevered (even though I really wanted to go to the farm instead since we were parked much closer to it than the dinosaur museum). All for the children.
I'm not sure if this picture was taken before we went into the museum or after we came out. Judging by Nono's hat I would say before...but judging by Lt's face I would say after!!
How there is not another person in this picture I will never know.
Not many people get their birthday picture taken with a Supersaurus.
Wow, these guys had so much fun together.
Lt doing something he probably shouldn't be doing (what else is new).
After waiting for 400 kids to quit jumping on the scale, the boys quickly hopped on and were there long enough for a quick picture before 400 more kids started jumping on. I didn't even get to see which dino they weighed as much as.
Look out!!
In the end, Thanksgiving Point redeemed itself by offering 50-cent ice cream cones. Yup, that pretty much made up for the disastrously crowded nightmarish museum.
