The baskets

Since D had so much fun with his Easter basket treasure hunt last year, we decided to do it again this year. Guess it's a tradition now.

When they woke up they found this on their door...

Reading a clue

Lieutenant was not interested even a tiny bit in participating. I had a box of cereal and he was following me while I was following D.

Another clue! Lieutenant was hoping that since the fridge was being opened he was going to get some breakfast. No such luck.

It's worth putting a terrible A.M. picture of myself on here to show poor little starved Lieutenant eating his cereal and not participating.

Another clue! (Don't worry, I'm not going to post pictures of them all.)

They finally found their baskets hidden in the dryer! (Yup, my kids get pipe cleaners and Pirate's Booty in their Easter baskets.)

Kind of like last year, Lieutenant didn't care about the fun stuff in his basket. But he really really liked opening and closing the plastic eggs. I guess that's a step up from playing with a piece of paper the entire time...

And he's still taking care of the baby! How precious is that?!

Awesome idea for an Easter basket treasure hunt! Perhaps the Easter Bunny can do that at the Amonetts next year. I'll pass along the good word.
