Snacks makes the cut
The haircut, that is. After weeks of agonizing over how I was ever going to give the child a haircut, it finally happened. Paul was out of town, I was alone with the kids, and somehow I decided it would be the ideal time to do it. I get a little crazy in the head when I'm alone with the kids for too long. It was very impromptu (which is very NOT me). I hurried and set everything up and got the props I thought would help keep him entertained. I planned on him watching TV (which, unlike his brother, only keeps him entertained for about 30 seconds), eating a lollipop (which he hated and did NOT eat), and playing with the hair clipper gear (which he did NOT care to play with). So when worse came to worse (32 seconds into the event), D fed him Kix and finally just ended up giving Snacks his binky. I still don't know how it all happened, it's kind of a blur. I don't know how he sat still long enough for me to do it. Did I mention that he also did NOT like the clippers buzzing around his head??
I recruited D to be the camera man, er, person, since these activities must be documented. Here's the first shot he took:

D!!!!!!! Focus!! He redeemed himself with the following two, not-too-blurry shots:

(I will not excuse my expression, it was a very stressful situation. Ha ha.)
And here are some shots of the Snack Attack after his haircut (about a week after):

Happy boy!
