Sledding

Yesterday it snowed all morning and then was nice and sunny in the afternoon, so Paul ditched out on work a little early and took D sledding. Once again, too cold for me, but they had a blast. We need to get our own sled (and replace our neighbor's sled that they broke) and some snow pants for D if we are going to make the most out of this winter. Here are some pics of the boys in action. Don't you love the sunglasses on D? Don't know how they're staying on because he has such a little button nose.

Oh fun! Looks like you guys will have a white Christmas! I love how Utah does each season so well. And to answer your question, reading with Liam is going great. Little house on the prairie is finished, and we are almost done with book #2 James and the Giant Peach. I really recommend starting with Roald Dahl. He is such a fun writer. He really appeals to silly 3-year-old minds. Even if D is only into it for a couple minutes, a little bit is all he needs. Right?
