Decorating time!

After we got the tree set up on Saturday, D was beside himself when I told him we were not going to decorate the tree until Sunday (Saturdays are just WAY TOO BUSY!). Well, as soon as he woke up Sunday morning he began asking if it was time to decorate the tree and did not stop asking (every five seconds) until we actually decorated it. Poor thing even had to wait out the family nap - we told him that we had to take a nap so we would have enough energy to decorate. Ha ha!

Paul's job is the lights. Yes, he is wearing gloves because I make him because lead in Christmas lights scares me.

D set his candy cane down (which is why I think he
really wanted to decorate so badly - so he could eat one) long enough to hang a few ornaments.

This is what brother thought of the whole ordeal.

D with a handful of cute little ornaments. He likes to take these off the tree and play with them and I try not to be too uptight about it.

The final product (How's that for hodgepodge Jessica? Paper snowflakes??)

Me and D admiring our lovely, mismatched, very lopsided tree. We love it, so quit knocking it Uncle Jon!!!

What a cute tree. I love that D was so excited about it. Doesn't that make Christmas so much more magical?
