Zoo

We went to the Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake a couple weekends ago and I am just barely getting around to memorializing the event! The zoo is an equally wonderful and depressing place to visit. It's so exciting to see all of the different animals, most of which you would never get to see anywhere else but the zoo, but at the same time a little sad to see what small little homes they live in. Oh well!

We got to the zoo late in the afternoon, which was perfect. It was not crowded at all and it felt like towards the end of our visit that we were the only people there. The only regret is not getting to take D on the zoo train...next time!

We think that D had fun, but he might have enjoyed the sparrows and magpies flying over the zoo more than the actual animals in the zoo. I personally think that he liked the bears the best; they were very entertaining! He didn't seem to be intimidated by any of the animals, but the big fake elephant and rhino did make him a little nervous (see pic to the left)!

- All the monkeys were sleeping...good thing we had D! -

- D trying to sneak into the turkey habitat -

- Probably how Uncle Jeff's neck felt -

- Finally, everyone's looking at the camera. -

Cute pictures! and D is looking like a little man! Wow time flies! The zoo looks like it was a good time. I remember I would go to that zoo all the time when I was little because my parents lived in the U of U family housing right down the road...such good memories...One complaint, you are never in any pictures!!! and you are so cute!

Hey Guys,

Love D's haircut. You should shave it up a little higher and make him look like Maddox Jolie-Pitt. Then Ang could get big sun glasses and lip injections and look like Angelina. Then Paul could get a toupee and look like Jon Voight. The paparazzi would be all the freak over that - "Angelina and estranged father share time at Hogle Zoo with Maddox."

Love you guys

you can delete this post if you want, I won't be offended

Luke and Kate are both scared of the elephant too. The first time there, I didn't know that it made noises and I had their stroller right next to it for a picure. Sorry guys.

that is awesome! I think D and Aiden have the same thing in common, we just took him to the zoo here in Houston (I'll post pics later) and all he kept looking at was the birds flying overhead. Hope you're all doing well!

Oh such cute pictures! But I do agree with Kate, where are you? I know you it goes, you are the picture-taker in the family, but tell Paul to share the burden. We want to see you!

Also, I just remembered Paul called me this morning. Whoops! Sorry I didn't call back. Tell him you can get the episodes on ABC.com for free!
