Heroes in a halfshell

Well, we were off on another adventure this week as we headed down to Las Vegas so Paul could go to another trade show for EOS. The only bummer about this trip (besides Vegas being the worst city ever, according to Paul) was that little Davis had his 4-month immunizations the day before we left. Needless to say, he was pretty miserable for most of the trip. Thank goodness that we didn't actually have to stay in Vegas; I didn't even have to go there at all. My grandparents live in Overton, NV, which is about an hour outside of Vegas, and they were happy to have us stay with them. They were especially excited to have Davis come visit, and Oma didn't even mind that he was fussy, she packed him around all the same! My dad drove to Overton so he could visit us too while we were there, and my mom even made an unexpected cameo appearance - Davis sure was happy to see her! Even though Paul hated Vegas, and the trade show wasn't quite what he had hoped for, two good things did come out of Vegas for him: In-N-Out burger (animal style) and a free bamboo longboard from one of his business associates...
