For months we tried to talk Nono into getting a haircut (not that the two-year-old is actually in charge of deciding whether or not he gets a haircut...). Every time we asked him if he wanted to have it cut he said, "No! I want it long! I want it in mine eyes." But finally I think he got sick of brushing it out of his eyes and one day when I asked him he said yes. Well, we didn't waste any time getting out the clippers in case he changed his mind.

Locks of love? I think we were a couple inches short of qualifying...
And the reward for sitting as patiently as a two-year-old can through a loooooong haircut (it was a lot of hair!) is a yummy lollipop.
Also, after the haircut when he was going to get in the tub, he saw himself in the mirror and started crying because his long hair was gone. True story.
