Look How Much I've Grown - 4 months

I'm thinking that in addition to being the tiniest baby, he is also the most social. He'll give a big smile to anybody that smiles at him first (especially his brothers). And a lot of times when I'm talking he jumps right in with tons of baby talk.

Like I mentioned before, he is an expert at tummy time. He can roll over from front to back now too. He's also great at chewing on his fingers, grabbing at toys, and spinning in a complete circle when he's laying on his back. And he's really curious about his surroundings now and is always checking everything out - especially whatever it is that his brothers are doing.

At his four-month checkup No-no tipped the scales at 11 lbs 13 oz (D was 12 lbs 11 oz and Lt was 13 lbs 8 oz at four months), so he's still the lightest baby. Interestingly enough, he is 25.1 inches long (D was 23.75" and Lt was 25.25" at four months) putting him right up there with Lt. Apart from the measures and skills reviews and of course the dreaded vaccinations, the four month appointment was pretty uneventful (guess after the third kid you kind of feel like you have things figured out...?). The only different outcome from this four-month appointment is that we will not be feeding No-no solids until he is six months old. 'Cause he's so tiny. (See if you can figure that one out.)

And aren't these the most rad socks ever??? My friend gave them to me when No-no was born - they totally rock (the socks and my friend)!

Happy four-month birthday No-no! Now that you are four months old, you are welcome to sleep through the night at any time. Oh, and while we're talking about sleep, naps that last longer than 20 minutes are actually good - I promise you're not missing out on anything! Please have patience with your brothers who are up in your grill all the time. They just love you waaaay too much. Please have patience when your stressed-out mama forgets that babies just cry sometimes. Please give your dad a break and don't always scream nonstop from the time I leave the house (to go anywhere) until the time I pull up in the driveway. But most importantly, please remember that we love you and think you're the cutest little four-month-old in the world, No-no cakes!
