Computer savvy

D knows more about the computer than I did when I was 18 years old. It's true.

Today while he was watching Wonder Pets (yes, that's right - he was actually watching TV - the child who NEVER EVER wants to watch TV...) he saw a commercial that was talking about some kids activities that you could go online and do (one reason I don't mind him not watching TV). He kept asking me about the "activities" and I had no idea what he was talking about because I wasn't actually there when the commercial came on (Paul filled me in because he saw it).

So when I was looking on my laptop later in the day I found this:

Do you see in the little search box how he went (himself) and tried to do a search for "activities"? And isn't his phonetical spelling "ac-ti-v-d-s" endearing (much like this picture ha ha!)?

5/15/09: Today's searches for "Barney and Friends"...

and "PBS Kids" (surprisingly he actually found it with his search!)

I should probably hide the search bar or get some good Internet filters...

Holy cow, what a genius! Seriously, that is so clever on so many levels. And I love the way he spelled activities. How does he know how to spell already anyway?!

Smart kid! Be careful with that one! :)

The kid's a wizard genius. I must tell everyone that his mom was reading Genesis--fluently-- when she was four years old.

Holy crap! That is just awesome! Aiden always asks me to type stuff in or tell him what he needs to type but man to just go do it himself!

Awww!!! i love it! I will have to show Liam. I've spoiled him and just bookmarked his favorite sites. I should make him to the leg work and spell it in the search engine, but I'm afraid he wouldn't get even half as close as D has! I am so in awe.
