Loved it

D was so excited to go get a Christmas tree. He waited semi-patiently all week for Saturday to come. And come it did, in a fantastic sunny splendor (but still a little chilly). It was the perfect day for outdoor Christmas tree hunting. When I was growing up, we used to go out in the mountains and chop down our Christmas trees. Paul informed me that they did not in fact qualify as mountains, but nonetheless, we all piled in the car, drove up into the hills (that better Paul?) and spent some quality family time wandering around looking for the perfect tree. Loved it. There probably is somewhere nearby that we could carry out the same tradition, but it is just not realistic with the little ones. So for now, we will continue to frequent our regular little tree place and get the best, most lopsided tree they have (pictures coming soon). D loved every second of it.

Love that second to last picture, so great. We still don't have a tree, I'm starting to feel the pressure.

Paul doesn't know a mountain from a molehill.
