The eggs

I have way too many pictures for one post, so our Easter posts will be many. Our first highly anticipated activity was coloring eggs on Saturday morning. D was so excited for this and did really well for a two-year-old.

D liked watching the water turn colors and
then watching the eggs turn colors.

D reading up to find out how long the eggs
really
have to stay in the cups.

Paul and D trying to speed up the drying process so D can
apply his incredibly awesome Lightning McQueen stickers.

Ta da! I think seconds after this picture was taken, we had our first
and only egg fatality.
Poor little blue egg didn't even see it coming.

Here is D showing off his handsome eggs (minus one). No, he didn't
drink any of the dye, he just ate a hearty bowl of blueberries.

You guys are great! Enjoy it while D doesn't make a total disaster! Our egg decorating was a mess! Kids climbing on the counter, cups getting spilled, eggs getting dropped!!! Such a nightmare! We had dye everywhere!!! Next year... we're taking it outside!!! Hope you had a great easter!!!
