I know I've said it before, and I'll say it again - Easter is more overwhelming (picture-wise) than Christmas. At Christmas I have a million pictures of Christmas morning to sort through, and a handful from Christmas Eve, but on Easter, well, I've got a million pictures of the basket hunt, a million pictures of egg coloring, and a million pictures of egg hunting. Are you feeling overwhelmed yet? Me too. Let's see if we can plow through the basket hunt here together...
So our tradition is to have the boys go on a treasure hunt to find their Easter baskets. They love treasure hunts. D led the hunt (since he's the only one that reads), but Lt got in the mix too this time and figured out a couple of clues himself. Nono? Well, he didn't know what was going on, but ran around with the brothers anyway.

First clue located on a cereal box. "Hurry up with the picture so we can go!"
Found another clue!
Found some trains!
After lots of early-morning running, the baskets were finally located and ripped apart in a matter of seconds. Nono hit the jackpot with a giant plastic egg and a sandbox tool (not sure why he's looking through it, but that was the first thing he did...).
Lots of marshmallows. All at once. With minimal chewing.
Easter grass is a great substitute for confetti, in case you were wondering.
Best thing in the baskets (according to the kids) - Angry Birds shirts
Most used thing in the baskets - bug nets

You make it so much fun for those little guys.
Ang, you are so imaginative and talented. Please start a tutorial workshop for those of us who are creatively challenged (i.e. me). I am the most un-fun mom on the planet. Help! :) BTW, love the cute pics. The boys are growing up so fast!
