November snow

Back at the end of November we had another snowstorm. Not a ton of snow, but definitely more than the boys got to play in during the October storm. On a whim (and in an effort to preserve a tiny bit of my sanity) I bundled up the little boys and kicked them out the back door. Even though it was freezing they had so much fun. I don't know how they endure the cold for so long.

He'll eat any snow he can find. Even if it's nasty. I'm afraid he would probably eat yellow snow too if he happened across some. Gotta keep an eye on him.

Brothers. Don't feel too bad for Lt...

he gets revenge two or three times.

D is walking away in defeat while Lt enjoys a nice big mouthful of victory snow.

Hey, this victory snow DOES taste good!

They tried their best to make snowballs with the powdery snow (in between shoveling it in their mouths) but it didn't really work out.

And this is where I shut the door and all picture-taking ceases immediately.

Nothing like a nice warm cup of cocoa and toast after some intense snow time.

Bottoms up big fella!

I see a very large billboard of D and his awesome hot chocolate mug for the upcoming election. He could totally hit the campaign trail with that grin.
