The morning of the trip I was having such frequent contractions that my dad drove me to my doctors' office while Paul and Nana took the boys to the aquarium. I knew there was no way I would be able to walk around the aquarium for an hour and a half, but I didn't know that I would actually be having the baby later that day (maybe I kind of did because I did pack my hospital bag before I left). Well, the doctor confirmed that I was in fact in labor and that I needed to head over to the hospital to get ready for surgery.
Paul and Nana and the boys had a fun time at the aquarium (although I'm sure Paul was pretty anxious to leave). Nana dropped Paul off at the hospital on their way back home and shortly after our new little baby was born.
So since I missed out on the trip to the aquarium, D is going to narrate these fun pictures they took...
Here we are looking at fish - a lion fish and a leafy sea dragon that we couldn't see at all. There were some pipefish too. I liked the lion fish the best. Lieutenant liked all the fish. He pointed a lot, made fish noises, and said "eeeeeeeeeeee" and "oooooooooooooo" a lot.
They had penguins at the aquarium too. The penguins were diving and waddling around and swimming in the water. I am seeing how tall I am compared to this penguin.
Here we are looking at ourselves because there was just that mirror there. At the aquarium we also saw a leopard shark, nurse shark, a big snake, scuba diver, octopus, an electric eel, and a plain eel. I think that's all. I can't remember.

wait - where's the baby!? sorry, but once you mentioned having him, i don't really care much about the aquarium trip :)
I think D should narrate more posts. I love it! Oh and ya, I wanna see some baby pics! Lots of 'em!
So cute...love the narration...glad Paul made it to the hospital in time!
Um, so you leave us hanging like that! Not cool! Where's the little guy? What's his name? I want some pictures. You sound so relaxed about the whole thing! But seems everything is going well!
