Dino museum, take two
When our neighbor found out how much D likes dinosaurs, she told us we should go check out the Paleontology museum at BYU. It took us a long time to finally get around to it, but once we did we weren't disappointed. I mean, it by no means rivals the dino museum at Thanksgiving Point, but it's close to our house, small, not crowded, and free. The first time we went we took one of D's little friends with us, which was fun. This last time we went we took Nana and Papa. I don't know if Lt. will be able to attend these types of functions until he is like 10 years old. It would've been so rowdy if he had gone with us (he was napping). I mean, he would have been climbing all over everything, definitely greasing into the roped-off areas, and probably would've been recovering fossils in the back room with the scientists. We'll enjoy the quiet, mostly-contained trips while we can!! (Love you, Lt!)
D checking out a Dimetrodon
Sizing up the Torvosaurus (I think it was called?)
D and Papa checking out some huge long-neck dino that wouldn't fit into my camera shot
Triceratops are HUGE!
T. Rex wasn't too shabby either.
Somebody got some alligator park cards from Papa so he knew just how to pose with this guy...why do people stick their heads in alligators' mouths???
Big foot
Big bone
He insisted on this picture.
D is checking out the little model Stegosaurus. I think he has one almost exactly like it at home!
D you're not supposed to go in there with the dinosaur! Oh well...
Close, D, but not quite as big!
And after two loops around the museum, we decided to hustle across the street so D could see the BYU cougar up close. The first thing Paul said when I showed him this picture was, "Dang Florida hat!". Go Cougs!

They keep more fossils and bones under the stadium. Bet D would love those too.
LOL! I'm so glad that D loves that place...my kids ask to go there several times a year...Peaches in the past has been strapped into the stroller so she doesn't bulldoze thru the place! Great pics!
