A little D potpourri

We went to the almost last Owlz game of the season tonight. At the seventh inning stretch, Paul got to lead the whole stadium in a spectacular verse of "Take Me Out To The Ball Game". Superstar! D was pleased as usual to spot Hootz running around, and since we will be without Hootz for quite a while now, we got D a little stuffed-animal Hootz. He likes it. A lot. Here are some pics of our future baller...

D had his two-year doctor appointment last week. Even though we tried to prep him like we did for the dentist, it didn't work. We even had him take his little doctor bag, but to no avail. As soon as they tried to measure and weigh him he started crying. A lot. The uneventful news is that he hasn't gained any weight, he has grown a couple of inches, and the doctor has no concerns. In other uneventful news, D now gets to take a multi-vitamin and he loves to choose which color to eat every day. There is some eventful news, for us anyway - we have a new pediatrician. Hooray! We are happy to get to see this highly-recommended new guy and even more happy to cut our driving and waiting-in-the-office time in half (if not more!). Yay new guy! We also got a fun little list of things to do with a two-year-old. Maybe I'll share some of the good ones that we try.

Lastly, here is a pic of daredevil D on our new stepstool. He likes to climb up and down. A lot. All the time. He sure is proud of himself when he makes it to the top and calls everyone's names to come see him.

Oops...one more...this is for Nana and Poppa. D still loves his train set and has affectionately named the two little people who haven't gotten lost "Nana" and "Poppa". I don't know if it's the striking resemblance or just the association. Ha ha!
