Rice cereal...a baby's Lunesta?
D has been rejecting the rice cereal that we have been trying to feed him for the past week. I have tried making it runny, thick, with water, and with milk, but he just hasn't really been that interested. One night, after probably three bites, he caught a hold of the little bowl (since all he wants to do now is grab everything) and flinged cereal all over me and Paul. Tonight though was a major breakthrough (everything is a major breakthrough when you're a new parent). He ate almost two tablespoons of cereral before he really got impatient and started fussing and grabbing for the spoon and the bowl and my hair and the toys on the floor and Paul's pants and the remote and the pillows...
(While Davis's doctor said that Davis didn't have to start eating rice cereal until he was six months old, we figured we'd try it out and see if the rumor about rice cereal equalling a good night's sleep was true or not...we'll let you know...)

Liam wasn't too interested in rice cereal either. He was into it for a while, but we found that it was just a gateway for more hardcore stuff like dried cranberries. Now he can snort line after line of crushed Cherrios and not even really get a buzz.
He looks so gtown up!
I can see green eyes! Can't wait to see the little Dude!
