October: Trick-or-treat times two

Well, get ready for a blast from the past as I play catch up on the old blog! Don't worry...I'm only five months behind! But if I don't hurry and do it now, before Easter, I may just throw in the towel. Let's begin!

This Halloween the boys got to go trick-or-treating twice because our ward decided to do a trunk-or-treat. The trunk-or-treat was pretty fun - it was the first time I had ever been to one. The kids liked looking at all the trunk decorations (some were pretty spooky!) and everyone was super generous with the treats. Regular old knocking doors around the neighborhood is how I remember Halloween, so it was fun that the boys were able to experience both. The bottom line? The kids got a lot of candy. A lot.

Here are the Ninja Turtles and a cute little tiger at the trunk-or-treat.

Check out those sweet ninja moves! Real ultimate power!

And here's the trio getting ready to hit the pavement.

 Happy Halloween!
