Look How Much I've Grown

Last week was the baby's two-week appointment. I still haven't come up with a clever nickname for him and I usually have too many nicknames for my kids. I guess I'm preoccupied with making sure Lt doesn't crush the baby (not because he doesn't like him but because he really likes him and he's chubby) and trying to visualize how I'm going to manage three kids after my mom leaves (that one pretty much just leaves me in tears). But I digress...


The baby is healthy and growing. He was 19.5" long, which means he grew 1.5". (D and Lt were both 19.5" long when they were born.) He weighed 5 lbs 13 ounces, so he gained back his birth weight plus another 5 ounces. Good job little buddy! I think that if I weighed him today he would definitely break the 6 pound mark! So far I think he has been a good baby, especially compared to the other two boys. Of course, Lt was a pretty good baby too until he hit about three weeks old, then things went crazy. So I'm not getting my hopes up. Okay, I am a little.


And just in case you were wondering, the little boys still love him. A lot. They always want to hold him. Always. And the kisses, well, the kisses from Lt never stop. Never. And he gets really mad and cries if he can't hold the baby. Oh, and heaven forbid you should try to wipe off his mouth before he kisses the baby. I am glad they love him!
