Parade
Our ward had a celebration in honor of Pioneer Day - breakfast, stories, singing, games, and a kids' parade. Yep, breakfast. That means that activities commenced at 8:00 a.m. Paul and D managed to make it out of the house around 8:00. Even though I was up and ready to go, I didn't leave until 9:00 when I finally woke up lazybones Snacks. So I missed most of the festivities, but made it in time for the most important part - the parade. All the kids decorated their bikes or dressed as pioneers and then they put on a small parade around the parking lot. I am incredibly and admittedly biased, but D's bike was the sweetest ride there.
Here are all of the kids lining up. Even though it was announced one second before that it wasn't a race but a parade, as soon as the starting bell rang all the kids took off as fast as they could go!
