Shave and a hair cut...

Okay, so there was no shave, but there was a hair cut.

I thought that since D is getting a little older, it might be fun to give him an actual hair cut instead of his regular buzz. So I asked my mom (yes, she can do everything) to teach me how to cut hair. Again. (You see, she tried to teach me once, many, many moons ago on my brother's hair. He had to get it professionally fixed.) It went pretty well and I think that with some practice I will be able to give my kids some rad hair cuts.

Cute little D has no idea how long this is actually going to take... (He was actually more patient than any three-year-old should ever be. Me on the other hand...)

This face is totally unnecessary. I am only using the clippers, sheesh!

He's still happy because I'm still just using the clippers and he hasn't been sitting there for 45 minutes yet. I did use scissors, eventually!

Uncle Jeff giving D a pep talk

(I realize that there are no "after" pictures. The "after" didn't look too much different from the "before". But it looked good nonetheless. Ha ha!)

Ang, the depth of your talents amaze me! And the looks on D's face are priceless. What a little comedian.

His face in the second photo is hilarious! I've tried many times to cut my squirmy boys' hair and it always looks horrible...I just resort to Cost Cutters now. I hope you have better luck, I mean SKILLS.
