Random stuff

D did not want to take a nap today. After he yelled for 10 minutes that he thought he felt like he had to pee, I finally went into his room. He was completely naked. And his room was thrashed (click on picture below for details). I took him to the bathroom where he managed to squeeze out a few drops and then took him back to his room. After it was quiet for a while, I went back to check on him and he was passed out (still fully clothed, thankfully) on some pillows on his floor. Well, I went to check on him about an hour later, and he had migrated to his bed and was fast asleep with the biggest Jimmy Neutron sticker stuck on his forehead. (The picture below is a re-enactment. I couldn't take a picture when he woke up because he was already SUPER crabby and it would not have been pretty. The original sticker was stuck all up in his hair and on his eyebrow. He did not appreciate my careful removal of the sticker and after a minute said, "just tear it off momma".)

Yesterday we had to take the boys to the doctor. What a nightmare. Four shots for brother. Flu shots for the rest of us. The boys were both ultra crabby for the rest of the day and D, always the thespian, walked around stiff-legged the entire day. Brother is growing like a champ (a little champ) and is a little over 10 lbs and is 22" long.

--------------------
Brother has this little play mat that he quite likes. (D calls it a play maP, with all the emphasis on the "p".) D quite likes it too, but ran away when he heard me mention "camera". Brother smiles at and talks to all of the toys.

--------------------
D doesn't like to draw or color. I never knew a kid that didn't like to color. So when he drew this the other day and told me it was a rhino, I was all over it. That little rhino (with a circle on his tummy, for toots) is hanging proudly on the fridge and will probably stay there until D goes to college.

--------------------
Brothers! (Not sure what D's obsession is with the bulb syringe, aka "booger-getter"...)

LOLOL! D is the funniest/best kid ever invented. B is also the best kid ever invented; I'm sure it won't be long before he's the funniest too. What cuties.
