Hole-in-one

While Nana and Papa were in town visiting, we decided to take advantage of the good (hot) weather and go mini-golfing. D had a blast. It was hard for the little guy to wait his turn to hit the ball, but he was as patient as could be expected from a two-year-old. He loved exploring all the layouts of the different holes and was especially intrigued by the water hazards - although he never hit his ball in any of them (most of the grown-ups did) even though I could tell that he really wanted to. The craziest part of the whole thing was that D got a hole-in-one...a legitimate one! He hit the ball only one time from the starting point like everyone else and it went right in - BAM! It was pretty cool. We all joked that it was such an easy hole that a baby could do it. Good thing we threw away the scorecard so as not to document how many strokes it took the rest of us (I'm sure I got 5). Here are some pictures of our fun time!
