We got mail

And not a moment too soon, I might add. The January blahs combined with the January weather have kept us (me) ill-tempered (no, it's not because I turned 30). Our car has been out of commission for about two weeks and the weather has been SO cold that D and I have been left to stay indoors and stare at each other crossly. I guess it hasn't been that bad, but what a great way to break up the monotony, with a nice, old-fashioned letter/package delivered by our friendly Mr. Mailman. Nana and Papa sent D a fantastic package with a great letter, some safety scissors, stickers, and a rubber band (all have a purpose). It's so fun to get mail (even if it's not exactly for you), so thank you Nana and Papa! If you want to brighten someone's day, I suggest sending something via good ol' snail mail!

(And thank you all for the birthday wishes.)
